Vietnamese students bring home Asian physics prizes
(VOVWORLD) -All eight Vietnamese 12th grade students won medals at the 20th Asian Physics Olympiad—two silvers, five bronzes and a certificate of merit.

The competition, which concluded in Australia on Monday, drew 165 contestants from 22 countries and territories. The two silvers went to Trinh Duy Hieu of Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students in Bac Giang province and Nguyen Xuan Ung of the National Science Gifted High School of Hanoi National University. The Vietnamese team finished fifth, behind China, Russia, Israel, and Taiwan (China).
