Vietnamese Tet celebrated in Egypt

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Cairo, Egypt organized a ceremony to celebrate the Lunar New Year on Friday. Representatives of overseas Vietnamese, students, workers, and staff of Vietnamese representative agencies in Egypt attended the celebration.

In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung said he hopes that Vietnamese people in Egypt will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, stabilize their lives, preserve national identity, and turn their hearts to the homeland.
At the ceremony, in a warm and open atmosphere, participants enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes and shared their plans for the new year.
