(VOVworld)- On Monday, teachers and students of Vietnamese descent from Thailand’s Nakhon Phatnom province visited the historic Hoa Lu former imperial city and Bai Dinh temple in Vietnam’s Ninh Binh province.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Som, a member of the Vietnamese Association’s Executive Committee of Nakhon Phatnom, said the visit to her homeland was very significant. Students had an opportunity to practice Vietnamese  and learn about Vietnam’s land and people, consolidating the bonds between overseas Vietnamese and their home country.
