Vietnamese workers' average monthly income rises 7.4% in H1
(VOVWORLD) - The average income of Vietnamese workers in the first half of 2024 was nearly 300 USD per month, up 7.4% from the same period last year, according to Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan.

At the ministry’s press conference on Tuesday, Mr. Hoan said that in the first half, the ministry proposed the Government issue a decree on adjusting monthly pensions, social insurance benefits and allowances.
By the end of last month, the number of social insurance participants was about 18.3 million, accounting for 39% of the working-age labor force, up more than 1 million over the same period last year.
