(VOVworld) – A workshop on Vietnamese youth and the Party’s leadership opened in Hanoi on Tuesday as part of activities to welcome the 12^th National Party Congress from January 20 to January 28.

Delegates praised the role and contributions of young people in Vietnam’s revolutionary movements and agreed that the Party and state should give them important tasks by which to train their political will and consolidate their trust in the Party’s leadership. Le Anh Nguyet, a student at the Vietnam Military Medical Academy, said: “We should do our utmost to fulfill whatever task is assigned to us. As future military doctors we should take care of soldiers and help maintain the people’s trust in the Party and the Vietnamese regime.”
