Vietnamese’s first Buddhist cultural center in Czech Republic opens
(VOVWORLD) - A pagoda of Vietnamese people in Most city of Ustecky region, the Czech Republic, was inaugurated on Saturday, becoming the Vietnamese community’s first spiritual cultural center officially recognized by local authorities.

Head of the pagoda Venerable Thich Thong Dat said: “The pagoda is not only a place of worship but also helps preserve the traditional culture and the Vietnamese language in the Czech Republic.”
In 2013, the Czech Republic recognized the Vietnamese community as one of its ethnic minority groups.
