Vietnam-German pilot project on nurse training reviewed
(VOVWORLD) - A pilot project to train Vietnamese nurses has proved effective, said a seminar to review the project recently held by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin.

Conducted by the German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the project has trained 200 Vietnamese nurses since 2012. More than half of them completed the course and received working permits in Germany. The German training establishments involved in the training program praised the Vietnamese trainees’ diligence and expressed a wish to see more trainees from Vietnam.
Trade Counselor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany Nguyen Huu Trang highlighted the cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Germany, in labor training and exchanges.
