Vietnam-Korea Business Forum opens in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in said Friday Korea and Vietnam would make efforts to increase the trade volume between the two nations to 100 billion USD from 63.9 billion USD by 2020.
He made the comments at the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum in Hanoi on Friday during his three-day state visit to the nation.
Speaking at the event, President Tran Dai Quang underscored that Vietnam is Korea's No. 1 trading partner among Southeast Asian nations and fourth overall.
"The two countries’ bilateral ties depend largely on both countries’ business circles. We call on entrepreneurs of both sides to share their new ideas and boost their creativity and strength to take the lead in bilateral economic cooperation, contributing to deepening Vietnam-RoK strategic partnership. The Vietnamese government and people always support every success and development of Korean businesses.", said Quang.
