(VOVworld) – Vietnam always wants to promote multi-faceted co-operation with the Netherlands and considers the bilateral ties as an example of “efficient and dynamic” relations with other European countries.

Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan made the remark at a Wednesday meeting with new Dutch Ambassador Catharina Trooster at the VFF Office in Hanoi. Chairman Nhan said he believes that during her ambassadorial term, Ms Trooster will make great contribution to the development of bilateral ties.
Ambassador Trooster said the two countries’ strategic partnership has been deepened in the areas of climate change adaptation, water management, agriculture, food security, energy, seaports, logistics, and judiciary. She hopes the Netherlands will have greater support from the Vietnamese government.
