Vietnam’s agriculture sector boosts administrative reforms in 2013
(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on Tuesday reviewed the sector’s administrative reforms in 2012 and plan of setting up and applying the quality management system based on ISO 9001:2008.

In response to the government’s program on administrative reforms, over the past year, the ministry built five draft laws relating to the prevention and control of natural disasters, plant protection and quarantine, veterinary, aquaculture, and irrigation. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam talked about plans for this year ‘In 2013, the agricultural sector will improve the quality of state management and speed up the administrative reforms with focus on the product chain management. These are the two key orientations to boost the sector’s growth.’
