(VOVworld) – Vietnam expects to earn 2.2 billion dollars from cashew nut exports this year, accounting for half of the global revenue. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said cashew nuts price remain high with steady global demand. They generated more than 1.7 billion dollars from exports since early this year, representing over 20% increase against last year. The US, the Netherlands and China are top three cashew nut importers of Vietnam.
