Vietnam’s consumer finance market to reach 1 trillion dong of revenue
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s consumer finance market is expected to generate 1 trillion dong next year with an annual growth rate of 29%.
This is attributed to a population size of 95 million, rapid urbanization and increasing disposable income. Finance and banking expert Can Van Luc says sustainable development in the market requires lots of solution in sync. “It's neccessary to change public awareness towards consumer financing and its role. A national strategy in inclusive financial development and education is needed as well as a better legal framework on consumer financing.”, said Luc.
