Vietnam’s daily COVID-19 infections surpass 100 for first time
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's COVID-19 daily new cases have gone past 100 for the first time as the Ministry of Health announced another 31 community transmissions Monday noon.

With 78 cases recorded in the morning, the number recorded in the day so far has risen to 109, the highest number since the disease first broke out to Vietnam more than a year ago.
21 of the latest cases were recorded in Hanoi, 7 in Bac Giang, and 1 each in Hoa Binh, Da Nang and Hai Duong.
The new infections took the total number to more than 3,400, including more than 440 locally-transmitted infections detected since the latest outbreak hit the country on April 27.
