(VOVworld) – An analysis by the UK’s Economist Intelligent Unit (EIU) released Sunday said tourism is a driving force of Vietnam’s economy. The report pointed out that Vietnam should invest more in infrastructure and resolve environmental problems to develop sustainably.

A report by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism showed that the number of foreign visitors to Vietnam this year continued to soar, with over 9 million arrivals by the end of November, up 25% from last year. In November, Vietnam welcomed 900,000 foreign visitors, up 14% from October.
