(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in France commemorated the 41-year anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2016) on Thursday evening.

Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Son said the 41st anniversary in 2016 coincides with Vietnam's review of 30 years of reform which have resulted in positive political, economic, and social changes.

Vietnam has become a middle-income country and an active and responsible country in the region and the world. The well-being of Vietnamese people has steadily improved.
