Vietnam’s ethnic culture shines in the Czech Republic

(VOVworld) – More than 30 ethnic troupes from 18 countries have showcased their cultural diversity at a festival in Prague, the Czech Republic.

The Vietnamese delegation left a deep impression with unique traditional costumes and performances. Lotus dance and spring dance of Vietnam’s Central Highlanders received big applause from the audience. Le Duy Ky, Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Prague, and a member of the Organizing Board, said: “The festival has been held for 18 times. Recognized as an ethnic minority group in the Czech Republic, Vietnam has shown its determination to preserve national identity and cultural values. We want to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture to other countries”.
