Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security delivers medical supplies to Myanmar

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security on Tuesday delivered three tons of medicines and medical equipment to Myanmar.

The supplies included antibiotics, digestive and flu medications, and basic healthcare equipment such as blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, SpO2 sensors, stretchers, bandages, disinfectants, and disease prevention materials like mosquito repellents.

Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong, head of the Vietnamese delegation, presented the supplies to Sa Weli Frag, Director of the Department of Natural Disaster Management of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement of Myanmar, who expressed his gratitude and said the supplies will be immediately sent to Myanmar’s Ministry of Health for distribution to the areas facing the most severe shortages of medicine and medical equipment. On Monday night, during ongoing rescue efforts in Zabuthiri Township, the Vietnamese team donated additional medical supplies and essential goods to the local government.
