Vietnam’s role in Francophone community praised
(VOVworld)- The 29th Conference of Francophone Foreign Ministers was held in Paris in the last two days attracting representatives of 57 Francophone member countries. Attending the conference, the Vietnamese delegation led by Nguyen Ngoc Son, Assistant to Foreign Minister, confirmed its support for International Organization of Francophone in building peace, preventing and solving conflicts. Vietnam has participated in building documents guiding the Francophone cooperation over the years. The participants discussed crisis in some countries including Mali, Madagascar, Egypt and Guinea. They showed their support for OIF’s assistance for member countries to escape current difficulties and affirmed their cooperation within the Francophone community. They condemned the murder of two French journalists in Mali.
