(VOVWORLD) -In 11 months of 2022, Vietnam's seafood exports reached 10.14 billion USD, up 27%, according to latest statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Pangasius exports reached 2.2 billion USD, up 14.6%, thanks to the strongest increase in the average price of pangasius by 50% and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which limits the supply of whitefish.
By the end of November, Vietnam’s shrimp exports totaled 4.3 billion USD, up 30%, ranking in the top 4 in the world along with Ecuador, India and Indonesia. Tuna products had an export turnover of over 1 billion USD for the first time. In general, seafood exports grew at a double-digit rate.
