(VOVworld) - Two-way trade between Vietnam and South Africa is expected to total 870 million USD in 2013, a year-on-year increase of nearly 17%. Vietnamese exports generated 760 million USD of that total.

Major exports included mobile handsets and components, footwear, garments, rubber, rice, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, chemicals, and electronics.

Vietnam imports metals, scrap iron, chemicals, and footwear and garment accessories from South Africa.
