The same day the Forum’s Executive Board convened its first meeting, focusing on vision and mission, as well as discussing areas in which the two countries could strengthen cooperation.

Philipp Rösler, Chairman of the Vietnam-Switzerland Economic Forum, said the goal is to build a platform to help improve mutual understanding, promote deep interactions, and innovation partnerships between Vietnam and Switzerland. The forum will also help incubate ideas and transformative projects.

At the event, Executive Board members shared their views and experiences on action plans, registration procedures, forms of calling for funding, financial rules, operating budgets and promotion strategies.

Rachel Isenschmid, who has for many years been working in asset management and will be in charge of Public Relations of the Vietnam-Switzerland Economic Forum, said the Forum will capitalize on the strength of Vietnamese intellectuals living in Switzerland and elicit the interest of Swiss businesses and organizations in Vietnam.
