(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-UK Friendship Association have held a meeting to mark the 40^th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.

The Association’s President Hoang Van Dung highlighted the ceaselessly strengthened relations between the two nations over the past 40 years that was lifted to the strategic partnership in 2010. Both have also exchanged delegations at all levels and in almost all fields.

Mr. Dung and Ambassador Antony Stokes expressed their beliefs in achievements so far and joint efforts by the two governments and peoples will be bettered.
