Viettel urged to make more breakthroughs
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has asked the military-run Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) to up its role as a major state economy group and make further breakthroughs to contribute more to national development.
At a meeting with the corporation in Hanoi on Thursday, Ngan said: "The military-run Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) needs to promote its vanguard role to create digital life and a digital society in Vietnam. Viettel needs to be an enterprise that leads in technology. Now you have developed digital infrastructure and digital solutions for the government, the National Assembly, Ministries and sectors. Moving forward, the group needs to be innovative to turn potential into practical values for life."
