Vinfast to manufacture pick-up trucks
(VOVWORLD) - Vinfast has been licensed to manufacture a series of new vehicles, including made-in Vietnam pick-up trucks, according to the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam.
The truck design by Filippo Perini, Head of Design of Italdesign, was licensed on October 8 and announced on November 25. The sketch shows the square design of the pickup model. The front and rear parts have V-shaped logos with decorative graphic patterns also in the V shape.
The Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam said the pick-up truck design will expire on January 14, 2024. And customers expect VinFast to roll out its new product line in the next 2 or 3 years.
VinFast, founded in 2017, is a subsidiary of Vingroup - the largest private enterprise in Vietnam. The company is currently operating in the industry of automotive and electric car and scooter manufacturing at its factory in Cat Hai - Hai Phong.
