(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan to make Nghe An City’s Vinh airport an international airport by 2030. He asked the Ministry of Transport to add Vinh airport to a plan for a nationwide network of international airports.

Vinh international airport will be capable of receiving large jets like the A320, the A321, and the ATR72. The airport will accommodate 2.5 million passengers annually by 2020 and 7 million passengers by 2030.
