(VOVworld) – Thousands of people have come to Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province, to attend the Lim festival, which is dedicated to Quan Ho (love duet singing), part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage.

The annual festival, which takes place on the 12th and 13th days of the Lunar New Year (this year on March 2-3), popularizes the traditional culture of the region formerly called Kinh Bac. Le Xuan Loi, Deputy Head of the Tien Du District People’s Committee, said the organizing board invited artisans and clubs from Quan Ho villages. At this year’s festival, artisans performed Quan Ho on boats, in front of communal houses, and at artisans’ homes.
