(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese representative Phung Truong Tran Dai was awarded the Best Talent sub-title on Monday at the Miss International Queen 2022 currently taking place in Thailand.

The transgender beauty told a significant story of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) community through a short play.
Through this unique performance, the Vietnamese contestant won judges’ heart and won the Talent Quest segment. Contestants from Thailand and Paraguay finished as first and second runners-up, respectively.
The Vietnamese girl earlier performed in the national costume segment, with her outfit drawing inspiration from Vietnamese rice, stork, crane, and the sun.
The global transgender pageant’s semi-final night and grand final are scheduled to take place on Thursday and Saturday in Pattaya, Thailand.
