(VOVworld)-Party general secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has sent a congratulatory telegram to Xi Jinping following his being elected general secretary of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee. The telegram wrote that The Communist Party of Vietnam hoped that China would achieve its set target in socialism building of Chinese characteristics. Vietnam praises the contribution by Xi Jinping in the development of relations between the two Communist parties and nations. Party leader Trong expected that the new Chinese leadership would help bring bilateral relations between the two parties, nations and peoples to a new height.
