Volunteer Blood Donation Day launched
(VOVWORLD) - A volunteer blood donation campaign was launched in Da Nang city on Sunday drawing nearly 1,000 students, young people, and members of the armed forces.
More than 700 blood units were collected. Le Chi Duc, a student of the Da Nang Polytechnique University, said: “I have donated blood several times in a hope to save more lives. I also hope that other young people will also donate blood to save patients who are in dire need for blood.”
A similar event was held in Khanh Hoa province drawing more than 400 volunteers and collecting more than 350 blood units.
In Tuyen Quang province, more than 1,000 officials, soldiers, and young people donated blood on the occasion of “Volunteer Blood Donation Day”, April 7th.
