VOV's Vice President Vu Hai, head of the Organizing Board of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest 2017 addresses at a press conference in Hanoi on August 7, 2017 to announce the contest.

VOV Vice President Vu Hai said the event is an opportunity for young professional singers from ASEAN countries along with China, South Korea, and Japan to strengthen cultural exchanges. The 4-day contest will take place at the FLC Resort in Thanh Hoa province and will see the participation of 24 singers.

The final round on August 20 will be broadcast live on VOV channels.
