VOV wins ASIAD 2018’s broadcast rights
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Television Corporation (VTC), a unit of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), has earned the right to broadcast all sporting events within the Asian Games (ASIAD) 2018.

The deal with KJSM World Corp was reached on Tuesday with support from property developer Vingroup and Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group.
Starting Wednesday, Vietnamese audiences can watch all the games played by Vietnam during the ASIAD 2018 live on VTC channels, or smart phones and smart televisions through the app VTC Now, or at vov.vn and vtc.vn. They can also tune in to listen to live narration of all sporting events on VOV radio channels.
By Tuesday afternoon, Vietnam ranked 16th in the medal tally with three silver and four bronze medals. Notably, Vietnam’s male football team qualified for the knock-out round after winning all group matches, while the women’s team advanced to the quarterfinals.
