WB ranks Vietnam 27th in Getting Electricity Indicator
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s Getting Electricity Indicator was ranked 27th among 190 countries and economies in the World Bank’s Doing Business report in 2018, up 37 places from last year.

The indicator was assessed based on procedures, time and cost to connect to the national grid, reliability in electricity provision and transparency of electricity cost. It is the fifth consecutive year Vietnam’s Getting Electricity has improved. With 87.9 points, the highest level so far, Vietnam recorded the highest increase in the indicator in Southeast Asia. The Electricity of Vietnam Group said the indicator witnessed the highest increase among the 10 economic sectors covered by the report.
