He will convey the Vietnamese government’s directions, policies, and measures for socio-economic development this year through which to call on partners and leading groups to cooperate with Vietnam and consolidate a more favorable international environment.
The forum will bring together more than 3,000 leaders from business, government, civil society, academia, arts and culture, and media, as well as 65 heads of state, government leaders and representatives from international organizations.
Addressing a press conference in Geneva on Tuesday, WEF founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab said the 2019 annual meeting will focus on defining a global agenda to perfect globalization and to increase help to vulnerable people who are marginalized by this process.
The purpose of the meeting is to identify new models for peace, inclusiveness and sustainability to suit a world where further global integration is inevitable. There will be 350 working sessions, discussions, and dialogues.
