WEF ASEAN 2018’s theme meets common concerns: delegates
(VOVWORLD) - The theme “ASEAN 4.0: Entrepreneurship and the 4th Industrial Revolution” of the World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN) is practical and meets the common concerns of ASEAN countries and many others around the world.

Praise came from representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations attending a roundtable meeting on the forum hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi on Tuesday.
Most of the participants also praised Vietnam’s preparations for the event. They pledged their support for and close coordination with Vietnam in preparing for the World economic Forum on ASEAN and ensuring the attendance of high-ranking leaders at the Forum.
Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, head of the organizing board, told VOV: “This year’s theme covers all issues linking ASEAN and the business community. We’ll organize a separate creative start-up forum and recommend that the World Economic Forum hold a summit on Vietnamese business which will focus on how Vietnamese businesses have responded to the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
The 3-day forum will take place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on September 11. It will provide a venue for state leaders and corporate executives to share ideas, policies, and measures on start-up development and address issues arising from the revolution.
