WHO introduces website on coronavirus
(VOVWORLD) - The World Health Organization has built a new website providing information and guidance from WHO regarding the current outbreak of new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) that was first reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019.

WHO is working closely with global experts, governments and partners to rapidly expand scientific knowledge on this new virus, to track the spread and virulence of the virus, and to provide advice to countries and individuals on measures to protect health and prevent the spread of this outbreak. The WHO said it’s safe to receive packages from China because we know coronaviruses do not survive long on objects, such as letters or packages.
At present, there is no evidence that companion animals or pets such as dogs or cats can be infected with the new coronavirus.
WHO said the world community should work together to prevent erroneous information which causes public panic.
