Out of 129 entries, some winners were the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention's initiative, Vietnam Dairy Products JSC's Net Zero Vinamilk project, and Norwegian People's Aid's project to address post-war landmine consequences in Vietnam.
The "Idea for the Community" award went to Genestory JSC for their "Medicine Cabinet for Children" and the Community Medicine Foundation for their project supporting cancer patients.
In the "Promising Project" category, Le Van Phuc, founder of the Fly to Sky Charity Organization, said that the organization has carried out 27 projects in 22 provinces and cities over the past five years, investing more than 400,000 USD. These efforts provided clean water for 16,000 school children, distributed 50,000 books, and established 33 libraries nationwide.
Phuc said, "Next year, our primary focus will be addressing the lack of clean water, sanitation, basic medical care, universal education, and livelihoods, and promoting environmental protection."
Head organizer Le Quoc Minh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said he hopes the Human Act Prize will become a valuable motivator for sharing and solidarity within the community.
