Winners of Vietnam Tourism Awards 2018 honoured
(VOVWORLD) - Winners of the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2018 were honoured at a ceremony on Monday in Hanoi by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Vietnam Tourism Association.

The ceremony, marking the 58th anniversary of the Vietnamese tourism sector, was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam. The organising board also announced the winners of a writing contest on Vietnamese tourism, which was launched in October 2017 under the theme “I Love Vietnam”. Out of 400 submissions, the grand prize went to “Welcome to Vietnam - a foreign tourist’s perspective” by Lana O’Sullivan from the United States.
The tourism sector has achieved 30% growth over the last 3 years. It hopes to serve 16 million foreign and 82 million domestic tourists this year.
