(VOVworld) - The Legislative Research Institute under Vietnam’s National Assembly Standing Committee and the UN Development Program (UNDP) held a joint workshop on National Assembly’s role in fighting corruption on Thursday in Ha Long city.
The discussions focused on carrying out the National Assembly’s duty to combat corruption, remove obstacles in the fight against corruption, and act on international experiences and recommendations. Many delegates said that the National Assembly needs to improve the quality of legislation to limit the opportunities for corruption, and by enhancing the quality and monitoring of national projects.
