(VOVworld) – Vietnam needs to develop and strengthen its national intelligence to build the nation and further its achievement in the renovation process. It was said at a workshop to mark 70^th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration on Friday in Hanoi.

The workshop’s presentations affirmed the great significance of the August Revolution and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The participants, including researchers and scientists, said that it was essential to continue to promote patriotism and national solidarity. Dr. Le Quoc Ly, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, said: “After 30 years of renovation, it is necessary to further renovate and be consistent with national independence and socialism. We need to utilize national intelligence for national construction. Party leaders also need to improve the Party’s operation to make it of the people, for the people and by the people”.
