(VOVworld) – World Bank Country Director in Vietnam Victoria Kwakwa told the Vietnam News Agency that the World Bank will continue to support Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

She said that after 30 years of renewal from a poor agricultural country Vietnam has become a dynamic middle income nation with a market oriented economy. Vietnam is joining global production networks and its economic growth has been impressive. Ms. Victoria Kwakwa said the World Bank is planning its next strategy to help Vietnam achieve its targets set for the 2016-2020 period.
