World reacts to US’s Middle East peace plan
(VOVWORLD) - Countries have mixed reactions to US President Donald Trump’s plan for peace in the Middle East. Under this vision, Jerusalem will remain Israel’s undivided capital.

India on Wednesday reaffirmed its call for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and asked both sides to resolve all issues through direct negotiations.
France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement which stresses the importance of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
Qatar responded cautiously to the peace plan, saying it welcomed efforts to broke a permanent peace, but warned that would be unattainable if the rights of the Palestinians are not ensured.
Bahrain supports all efforts to achieve a “just and comprehensive solution” for the Palestinian cause, said Bahrain’s Foreign Affairs Ministry in a statement reacting to the peace plan. The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the peace plan, saying it represents a surrender to Israel and their enmity toward the Arab nation.
