The Bach Long bridge spans 632 meters and stands 150 meters above a verdant valley.
The bridge's floor is made of super tempered glass produced by leading French company Saint Gobain. The entire cable car system is imported from South Korea.
"We aim to make Son La province a safe and attractive destination in the northwestern region. We will create unique tourism products, fully tap local natural resources, and preserve ethnic minority cultures to seek Moc Chau district’s recognition as a national tourism site by 2025,” said Trang Thi Xuan, Vice Chairwoman of the Son La provincial People’s Committee.
At the inaugural ceremony, Guinness World Records officially recognized Bach Long as the world’s longest glass bridge and longest glass-bottom cliff side path (327 meters.)
"They are superb, an incredible feat of enginering," Guinness World Records representative Gleen Polard talked about the bridge.
