(VOVWORLD) - Venezuelan Juan Vicente Perez Mora, known globally as the world’s oldest man, passed away on Tuesday, at 114 years of age.

Perez was 112 years and 253 days old when the Guinness World Records officially recognized him as the world’s oldest man on February 4, 2022.
As of 2022, Perez has 11 children, 41 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
He was born on May 27, 1909 in El Cobre, Venezuela. He served as the town sheriff and also worked in agriculture.
