(VOVworld)- A ceremony to announce Xoe dancing and the Kin Pang Then festival as two national intangible cultural heritages took place in Muong Lay township, Dien Bien province on Thursday.  The Kin Pang Then festival has been associated with the Thai ethnic minority people for a long time. During the festival, the Thai worship disciples of the God known as the Then. Xoe dancing has been an indispensible activity in the cultural life of the Thai ethnic minority people in Muong Lay. The recognition of the two heritages encourages local people to preserve and further promote their traditional culture.
