Yen Bai holds cultural, sports and tourism week
(VOVworld) – Yen Bai province will hold a cultural, sports and tourism week about the terraced rice fields of Mu Cang Chai district next month.
The program will include a photo exhibition on terraced rice fields, a market day, and folk performances. This is the 2nd time the province has held such an event, an opportunity to introduce Mu Cang Chai’s terraced rice fields and the cultural values of the H’mong ethnic people to visitors. Nguyen Trong Khang is Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee: "We have been cooperating with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Cultural Week program was carefully worked out with its main focus on the terraced rice fields and the cultural values of the H’mong ethnic people. Specific tasks were assigned to each commune".
