(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked Yen Bai province to fully integrate the role of ethnic minority people in the province’s development.

At the congress of ethnic minorities in Yen Bai province on Wednesday, Mr. Phuc said Yen Bai should pay more attention to improving the healthcare, living standards and education of ethnic people there. It was also essential to preserve and develop the cultural values of the local people.

To mark the occasion, the government presented 1.2 million USD to build and equip 5 clinics in the province.
