Yen Bai urged to tap local potential
(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has asked Yen Bai province to continue tapping local potential of natural resources, forests, and land. At a meeting with Yen Bai leaders on Friday and Saturday, Mr. Trong called for more efforts to conserve the local ecosystem, improve people's living conditions, especially for ethnic people, and reduce poverty rate toward sustainable growth. The Party leader also underlined the need to consolidate the Party building and political system.

Earlier, at a working session with officials of Tram Tau commune, Mr. Trong praised the local authorities and people for their efforts in poverty reduction and eradication of backward customs saying it’s a decisive factor to best use of the government investment. Party leader Trong said: ‘The government investment will become efficient if it’s combined with the local human and financial resources. The best way to develop is to base on your own capacity, knowledge, and restructure production. It’s good that the local ethnic people have done their utmost to escape poverty.’
