(VOVWORLD) - Young Vietnamese expatriates visited Quang Ngai province on Friday during their ongoing 2019 Summer Camp. Quang Ngai is famous for its outstanding scenery and historical relic sites associated with Vietnam’s glorious feats of arms.

Campers visited the Thien An mountain where patriot Huynh Thuc Khang is buried. Bui Hoang Thang from Canada shared his admiration: “Revolutionist Huynh Thuc Khang was a great personality. He was appointed Acting President while President Ho Chi Minh was in France. During that time, he designed numerous incentives for the reformation of Vietnam’s education system.”
Campers paid tribute to late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong at his memorial complex in Mo Duc district and learned about his life and career, during the course of which the Prime Minister made enormous contributions to Vietnam’s development.

The young Vietnamese expats visited the Phu Hoa Orphanage in Tinh An Tay commune, which is currently caring for 30 orphans, and presented the orphans with gifts worth 860 USD.
Nun Nguyen Thi Trung, Director of the Phu Hoa Orphanage, said: “We are thankful to the great affection and precious gifts given to us from young Vietnamese living abroad. We have been given a refrigerator, a television, and two fans. This has been a wonderful time for our orphans, and will be etched indelibly in their memories.”
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and farmers of the Sa Huynh salt field, a key salt production zone in Vietnam.
