(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh Youth Union in the Czech Republic has convened its congress to discuss initiatives to boost youth movements among students and postgraduates in the host country.

A new executive committee including 8 members has been elected on this occasion with Ms. Le Minh Phuong elected as the union’s Secretary for the 2016-2018 term.
Ms. Phuong who was deputy secretary of the previous tenure told VOV correspondent that in the new term, the youth union in Czech will focus on connecting its branches and diversifying forms of activities to attract more young people.

Ms. Phuong said: “We’ll work with the Vietnam Youths and Students Association in Czech to create a healthy playground for those who are living and studying here. We plan to provide a consultancy and information service for those who want to go to the Czech Republic for study. Sports and charity activities will continue to be organized.”
Phuong said the union’s executive committee will cooperate with the youth unions and Vietnam Youths and Students Association in other countries for the exchange of experiences.
In the near future, the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and Vietnam Youths and Students Association in Czech will send their representatives to the European Youth Summer Camp slated for September in Paris.
