Upholding President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching “To benefit in 10 years, we must grow trees. To benefit in a hundred years, we must grow people”, young Vietnamese people actively responded to the spring tree planting campaign.
First Secretary of the Youth Union Nguyen Dac Vinh encouraged young people to plant trees, develop forests, and protect the environment in response to climate change. Nguyen Huyen, a pupil at Chi Linh secondary school, said: "As a pupil and a member of the Youth Union, I understand that planting trees is a meaningful activity. After the launch ceremony, I will continue to plant trees and protect the environment." The same day, Youth Union members began cleaning the streets and growing trees in all the communes of Chi Linh township.
